Carlo Ancelotti; From Real Madrid to the Brazil National Team

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will leave the club at the end of the season to become the new head coach of the Brazil national team.

The 65-year-old Italian is set to officially take charge of Brazil on May 26, following the conclusion of the La Liga season.

Ancelotti departs the Santiago Bernabéu as one of the club’s most successful managers, having won 15 trophies during two separate stints as the manager. Last season, he guided Los Blancos to a Champions League and La Liga double.

However, his departure from Real comes after Sunday’s El Clásico defeat, which left the team seven points behind leaders Barcelona with just three games remaining. Unless Barcelona experiences a dramatic collapse, this result essentially ensures that Real will finish the season without a trophy for the first time in four years.
