12 people have lost their lives following a fatal road accident at Arimi along Njoro-Elburgon Road, Nakuru.
The tragic accident occurred on May 8, at around 7 PM, after a lorry collided with a 14-seater Matatu.
According to reports, the driver of the matatu lost control of the vehicle, leading to the road crash.

The accident resulted in the death of 12 people on the spot, while two passengers sustained injuries.
After the incident, passers-by gathered at the scene to offer assistance to the injured.
The injured were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
Images shared online showed the matatu extensively wrecked with a shattered windscreen.
The lorry was also damaged.
Confirming the accident, Molo MP Kuria Kimani condoled with the families who lost their kin and promised to offer them support.
The MP further called on motorists and road users to be vigilant and responsible to avoid unnecessary road crashes.
