Following President Ruto’s rally in Kuria West, Migori County, where a shoe was aimed at his head, new evidence emerged.
In the new evidence that emerged from a video, it was clear proof that the owner of the shoe was not the one who aimed the shoe at President Ruto.
According to the video that was shared online, the shoe was seen emerging from the crown and heading towards Ruto’s head when he used his arm to divert it.
This forced the Head of State, who was addressing the crowd, to stop his speech briefly as his security detail swung into action.
According to reports, the police believe the incident was premeditated and might have been planned days before the President arrived in the region.
Investigations revealed that three suspects were arrested and are being interrogated to identify the key suspect.
However, the police have not described the three suspects in connection with the incident.
The State House, on the other hand, has not stated the incident.
