Several people were injured on Sunday morning after a Kisii-bound Guardian bus was involved in an accident along Kaplong Road.
The bus veered off the road after the driver attempted to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming lorry.
In the process, the driver lost control, causing the bus to skid off the road and land in a ditch.

Although no fatalities were reported, several passengers sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the bus had a total of 33 passengers who were travelling from Nairobi towards Kisii.
The injured were taken to St Clare Nursing Home following the incident, which left the passengers in shock.
Moreover, some passengers with serious injuries were transferred to Tenwek Hospital in Bomet County, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
