Rotimi recently shared plans he has for Cartoon comedian despite receiving backlash from fans in her song.
Ever since Cartoon Comedian abandoned her comedy career, she has been releasing new hits and attempting to be recognised in the music industry.
In an attempt to pursue her music career, Cartoon changed her name to Vanexxa and deleted all videos associated with comedy.
In his Instagram stories, Rotimi revealed plans that he has for Cartoon regarding her music career.
“One day Vanexxa will be the first female music artist to sell out the O2 Arena”, he wrote.
He added that as of April 2025, no Kenyan female artist has sold out the main 20,000 capacity 02 Arena in London.
According to him, several Kenyan female musicians such as Wahu, Akothee, Muthoni Drummer Queen and Evelyn Wanjiru have made significant contributions to the music scene but have no public record of any of them headlining or selling out the O2 Arena.
He further cautioned Kenyans that speaking negatively about their artist and fellow citizen reflects the very mindset that contributes to the suppression of women’s voices and the lack of progress regarding women’s voice rights in African societies.
