Three Robbery Suspects Arrested in Narok

Police officers in Narok have arrested three suspects tied to a robbery with violence incident in Narok town.

This followed a distressing call about an ongoing robbery at Total village.

The police responded after three robbers stormed a rental building and stole tenants’ items such as mobile phones, laptops and gas cylinders.

In the chaotic process, a student at Maasai Mara University incurred injuries before the gang escaped.

He was taken to Maasai Mara University Clinic, where he is currently receiving treatment and in a stable condition.

The suspects identified as Gideon Kipkorir (22), Haron Kipkurui Bii (25) and Nicholas Kipngetich Bii (32) were nabbed despite attempts to escape.

During their arrest, the officers recovered three maasai swords alongside two Lenovo laptops, seven mobile phones and 6kgs gas cylinder.

They also recovered assorted electronics, Kenya Power meters and returned them to their rightful owners.

The suspects are currently in custody as they await court proceedings.
