“The circumstances surrounding the discovery of the lab and the suspects implicated contain misinterpretations and lack sufficient details about the case” DCI stated.

The Sleuths moved quickly and discovered a drug lab had been put up with chemicals presence as evidence, formulas and other lab equipments.

Among the suspects arrested included Alvaro Israel Vera (Mexican), two Nigerian nationals Agwu Ojukwo and MBA, Agwu Ogba who are brothers and three Kenyans namely Caroline Wambui Wachira, Francis Maina Gachau and Betty Muchemi.

When the further probe was conducted, Ojukwu was revealed as the master mind and architect of the lab having visited Kenya for the first time in 2007.

Currently, detectives are still pursuing Mexicans who are believed to have gone into hiding after orientation.
