William Ruto Jams to Kasongo Yeye During Kibera Rally

President William Ruto was recently seen cheering and dancing to his famous nickname song ‘Kasongo’.

This was during his visit to Kibera slums, as part of his ongoing development tour in the city.

During his Kibera rally, the Head of State was seen dancing to his famous nickname song ‘Kasongo’ as he clapped his hands, enjoying the song while smiling.

Speaking during the rally, President Ruto unveiled plans to modernise the popular Toi market in the Kibera Constituency.

He added that the government would allocate sh500M towards upgrading the facility.

“We are going to give you sh500M for the construction of this market. This Toi market here where there is fire frequently” he said.

He also said that he had already instructed the Ministry of Housing to engage the Nairobi County to ensure the construction of the project commences soon.

The president further directed that Kenyans aged 18 and above should be given National Identification (ID) cards free of charge.

According to the Head of State, the move will ensure that as many Kenyans as possible secure identification documents.
