Some traders in Limuru are counting losses after fire razed down property and businesses worth millions of shillings at the Limuru Bus Park.
Reports from authorities indicate that the incident occurred in the early morning of Thursday, March 13.
Moreover, reports indicated that the fire began at one of the hotels at the bus park when they opened for business.

The fire is said to have consumed over ten business establishments, mostly made of aluminium, as it ravaged the bus park, destroying valuable property.
The bus park, which houses hundreds of shopping stalls and some residential settlements, is a critical cog of the public infrastructure at Limuru and a key economic driver in the area.
The fire was later contained and no injuries reported.
However, the cause of the fire is yet to be established, with many left lamenting on their next port of call in light of the massive inferno.
The fire came just days after another fire consumed a section of the market in Mamboleo, Kisumu, near the city’s bus stage, leaving property of unknown value destroyed.
The fire, which broke out on the night of Sunday, March 9, is said to have started at a food joint in the lakeside city and quickly spread to nearby structures.
