The Milimani Children’s Court has sentenced a Dutch national for 10 years after being found guilty of 10 counts.
The counts include child pornography, sexual communication with a child, indecent acts with a child, and child abuse.
In a statement released on March 4, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution noted that the suspect was found guilty of six counts of child pornography.

2 of the counts are of sexual communication with a child, one count of committing an incident act with a child, and one count of child abuse.
According to the ODPP, the suspect intentionally exposed a 17-year-old minor to obscene audiovisual materials via WhatsApp, to encourage the minor to engage in sexual acts.
The suspect was also found guilty of encouraging a 16-year-old minor to communicate with him sexually.
He was moreover found to have actively encouraged PW3 to engage in sexual acts with underage girls and instructed him to take nude photos and videos during those acts, which were then sent to the accused.
In addition to the 10 years, the 73 year Old suspect was fined a total of Ksh3 Million in restitution of the victims.
The offences were committed between April 2022 and November 2023.
