Comedian Njugush Shares His Childhood Trauma

Bed wetting was one of the many challenge comedian Njugush had to face in his childhood life.

His self-esteem was definitely low, but he came to overcome it with time.

In a recent interview comedian Njugush has shared how wetting his bed till high school affected his self-esteem.

According to the comedian he found it difficult back then to share the issue with his close friends since it acted as his insecurity further adding that he was also ashamed of airing his beddings not just in school but also at home.

‘’kukujoa was frowned upon, hutaki marafiki zako wajue,,”

“Nilikojoa mpaka highschool ,,,,, Nilikojoa day one ya admission,,,,,singetoa mattress nje,,,, so usiku unajua mahali ya kulala kesho unapendua side ingine,”

Being laughed at was one of the main challenges he faced at school, but he overcame it after realizing that one of his friends also had the same problem, further coming with another challenge since they were blamed for dragging the dormitory behind with the dirt and uncomfortable smell.

Ngugush also added that he was surprised when he learned that his wife Celestine Ndida also had the same problem as him in her childhood life.
